The goal:
By simplifying the therapist search process, offering affordable options, and tailoring preferences, the app strives to make mental health care more accessible and personalized. It seeks to eliminate the frustration and uncertainty often associated with seeking therapy, fostering a sense of hope and empowerment among users in need of emotional support.
Understanding the User
User Research Summary:
The user research conducted for the therapy app revealed valuable insights into the diverse needs and challenges of potential users. It highlighted the importance of customization options for therapy preferences, the demand for affordable mental health support, and the desire for a user-friendly platform that simplifies therapist selection. The research findings underscored the app's potential to bridge gaps in mental health care access, ultimately aiming to provide a more inclusive and supportive environment for individuals seeking therapy.
User Personas
With the app designs completed, I started work on designing the responsive website. I used the therapist finder app to guide the organizational structure of each screen’s design to ensure a cohesive and consistent experience across devices.

Digital Wireframes:
After ideating and drafting some paper wireframes, I created the initial designs for the Therapy finder app. These designs focused on finding a therapist and book an appointment based on their preferences.
Low-Fi Prototype:
To prepare for usability testing, I created a low-fidelity prototype that connected the user flow of browsing museums and booking tickets.
