The problem:

Many potential visitors to Weimar's museums face challenges in accessing information about museum collections, booking tickets, and staying updated on upcoming events. This fragmented experience can lead to missed opportunities and decreased engagement with the town's cultural offerings.

The goal:

Our goal is to create a user-centric website product that seamlessly connects visitors to Weimar's museums, streamlines the ticket booking process, and keeps users informed about the latest cultural events. We aim to enhance the accessibility, convenience, and overall user experience for museum enthusiasts, tourists, and the local community.

Understanding the User

User Research Summary:

User research for the Weimar Museums website involved in-depth interviews, surveys, and usability testing with a diverse group of potential visitors. The research uncovered user frustrations related to information accessibility, ticket booking, and event awareness. These insights informed the development of a user-centric website focused on addressing these pain points and enhancing the overall user experience.

Digital Wireframes:

After ideating and drafting some paper wireframes, I created the initial designs for the Museum web design. These designs focused on overall ticket booking experience to museums of Weimar.

Low-Fi Prototype:

To prepare for usability testing, I created a low-fidelity prototype that connected the user flow of browsing museums and booking tickets.
